How Inner Peace Transcends Politics, Beliefs, and Differences

I don’t mind if you’re a Democrat or a Republican.

I don’t mind if you’re an atheist or deeply religious.

I don’t mind if you eat differently than I do.

I don’t mind if you think differently than I do.

I don’t have to agree with you to approve of you.

I don’t mind if you’re having a bad day and acting like a jerk.

I’ve had bad days, and I’ve acted like a jerk too.

I don’t mind if you prefer me, and I don’t mind if you don’t.

My inner peace is NON NEGOTIABLE, so my happiness is not conditional on the choices of others.

Acceptance isn’t about agreeing with everything.

It’s about allowing space for everyone’s journey.

Part of acceptance is accepting that some things may need changing, but it’s not my job to judge someone else’s soul journey.

I strive to stay open, to challenge myself, and to try on new perspectives.

I want to understand.

I assume everyone is doing their best in any given moment, with the information, values, upbringing, and opportunities they’ve had.

I know I have made mistakes so I accept that others will too.

These are how we grow.

I don’t need to agree with someone to see their humanity.

I don’t need everyone to think like me.

Diversity is divinity.

I often change my mind because I am always seeking new information and I am flexible of mind.

I know that more than one truth is true in any situation.

My ego doesn’t need to be right.

I try to remain curious and compassionate.

Let’s not buy into the structures that try to divide us and highlight our differences.

We are all divine beings, fractals of Source Consciousness.

We are all one, and we all deserve to have our experiences validated, even when we don’t agree, align, or approve.

Everyone is doing their best.

Everyone is a part of you.

And I, for one, refuse to believe in the illusion of separation between us.
